Sheffield’s Cultural Home for Creatives

Housed in the iconic 1930s Art Deco Kenning House, Work Station has been at the forefront of Sheffield’s creative evolution for over 30 years. Originally built as a luxury car showroom, the building was reimagined in the 1990s as a space for innovation — and has since played host to award-winning film companies, groundbreaking designers, cultural festivals, and the city’s most exciting startups.

From Arctic Monkeys and The Human League to Warp Films and Sensoria, Work Station has helped shape the creative legacy of Sheffield. Today, it continues to power new ideas and independent business through flexible workspaces, a vibrant community, and a shared belief in the power of culture to drive change.
